SBR Decenter

An SBR decanter is a mechanical effluent withdrawal device used in a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) system to remove clarified supernatant after the settling phase without disturbing settled sludge. It ensures uniform, low-velocity decanting from the top layer of treated water.

The decanter typically consists of a floating or fixed weir, support structure, actuator (motorized or pneumatic), and control system for automated operation. It is designed to prevent sludge carryover and maintain consistent effluent quality.
