Vaccume Breaker

The Vacuum breaker protect the Tank and face piping during the operation by preventing negative pressure in tank. Fiberglass/Composite pressure vessels are rated for internal negative pressure of 5 inches Hg (17Pa) Vacuum below atmospheric. Vacuum breaker must be installed between pressure vessel inlet and any valves. For Enclosed tank application, the vacuum breaker should be installed at highest location in the system plumbing.
